Canlan Pre-Season Tournament Champions
The Caledon Hawks Midget AE Team win there first tournament of the year winning the
CANLAN PRE-SEASON BLAST Midget Tournament.

The Caledon Hawks Midget AE Team won there first tournament of the season beating some strong competition from Toronto and the US.  After a strong start beating the Toronto Wolverines 7-1 they faced tough competition from Vaughan losing 2-1 in a hard fought battle.  They then faced a full squad from New Jersey, but the Hawks played a solid game winning again 7-1.  They then again faced the Toronto Wolverines in the 1st semi-final beating them 6-1 to advance to Sundays final vs a stong Vaughan team who previously snuck by 2-1 in the last meeting.  Hawks came out strong took a 2-0 lead Vaughan got one goal back Hawks went up 4-2 going into the final frame when the Hawks shut down Vaughan with an empty netter to win 5-2 !
Congrats to the entire team on a great start to the season
