Owner and president, Angelo Visco and general manager Fred Visco, recently joined forces with Traction to become Bolton and Barrie’s most important player in the heavy duty truck and trailer parts industry. “Traction (a division of UAP) is a great company to be part of”, said Angelo. Their staff is very helpful and professional and we love their motto: “One Team – One Goal.” After 13 years of specializing in industrial sales and service such as hydraulic hose and fittings, pneumatics, tools and hydraulic cylinder sales, Fred and Angelo were ready to expand into the trucking industry. Knowing full well of Traction’s excellent reputation across the country, Angelo approached them about becoming an independent associate store which would carry their complete line of truck parts and accessories. He wanted to team up with a reputable company that had a solid track record in the industry and could help him expand his already busy organization. Traction-Visco’s driveline service extends to different industries such as agriculture, automotive, construction, forestry, mining and recreational vehicles. Their service for drivelines stretches from Toronto to Collingwood and Markham to Guelph including all points in between. Angelo brought in a driveline expert, John Forbes, with over 20 years’ experience in manufacturing, repairing and balancing drive shafts, to run the operation. “With our new computerized ‘state-of-the-art’ equipment we can meet or exceed OEM specifications,” says Angelo.
