FOOD DRIVE and Empty Bottle Collection U14BB- 2023

How: Walking around the neighborhood

Dress Code: Away jersey (black) warm clothes underneath, gloves, hat

Needed: Wagon/cart/ boxes

Goal 500lbs or more of non- parishable food

Hello Hawks Family!!!

We will be having a team building FOOD DRIVE and EMPTY BOTTLE collection on….

Saturday, November 18, 1:30-4:30.

It will take place right after our practice at Albion Bolton Arena. Though transportation will be required to the address above. The team will provide pizza and a drink for the boys right after practice. Therefore there is no need to go back home and the boys will be re-energized for this event.

I will have a wagon to take along with us and if anyone can provide another one that will be greatly appreciated as well as extremely helpful. Also, bringing some extra empty boxes/bins to put the items in once collected will be a huge help as well.

Our goal is to raise 500 lbs. of non-perishable food or more which will then be delivered to The Exchange (55 Healey Road) on Sunday November 26, (right after our team’s pictures.)

All food collected will be weighed and then, the boys will be asked to help organize it before leaving The Exchange. (FYI: bring your community hours sheet to be filled out by the staff.)

Money collected for bottle returns will also go to The Exchange.

All players must be in their AWAY JERSEYS (black) as representation for the Caledon Hawks. Dressing warmly under the jersey is highly recommended. Parents have the option of staying or dropping their player off. Though a few volunteer parents will be helpful for safety and guidance.
