Novice RS, 2016-2017, RS (Caledon Minor Hockey Association)

Members of the Caledon Hawks RS Novice team got a chance to meet Caledon Golden Hawks’ defencemen Shane Rumboldt before Sunday;s home game against the Midland Flyers. Rumboldt had team pucks for the young admirers. And to make things even better, the Hawks won their game.

The Novice RS Team would like to wish all a Safe and Happy Holiday Break and have a Happy New Year.

My coaching philosophy is a very simple one, my ability to give back what I was able to learn from my Coaches growing up as a hockey player. I am striving for my team to learn sportsmanship and how to have fun and to love the Great Canadian Game of Hockey. And knowing that winning is not the reason to play, it is to have fun with the experience and getting to know your teammates and to help each other when it's needed. I hope this season will strengthen the friendship bonds between players, parents and community. Lets have a great 2016/17 Season and Let's go Hawks!

Welcome Parents to the Novice RS Homepage. I am going to try to keep this site updated...  It might be a challenge but one that I think is important to the kids and the families involved to be current with what is going on with the team and community. It's going to be a fun year, my goal is to train the little hockey players 2-3 practices a month along with 1-2 games per month.  I would like to register for 2 tournaments at a minimum and if we are lucky a third at the end of the season.
