Hawks Start The Season With Win
The Caledon Midget MD Hawks started the 2016-17 season in winning fashion with a dominating 7-2 victory over the Orangeville Flyers.
The Hawks and Flyers traded goals for the first portion of the game however during the late 2nd and 3rd periods the Hawks broke a 2-2 deadlock to score 5 unanswered goals to cruise to the 7-2 final score.
The team took lessons learned from last weekends Duffield Devils Tournament and made some adjustments that turned to be very successful against The Flyers.
Next up, The Hawks travel to Brampton's Earnscliffe Arena to play the Brampton Bulldogs on Oct 2nd at 6:05pm.
