Bantam #6, BAN, 2013-2014 (Caledon Minor Hockey Association)

Another fantastic game.  The boys fought hard and had lots of energy.  They are covering the point man in the defensive zone and passing the puck really well.   We need to work on coverage in front of our net but overall it was a well played game.  Ryan had an outstanding game in net making some critical saves.  Solid effort by Ben, Calvin and Jack as well as the rest of the team.  Keep working hard and i hope to see EVERYONE at practice.  :)

Its was a hard fought battle today.  The last minute of play was almost enough to tie it with the extra attacker.  A killer shot from Liam Witt just couldn't find the net.  So we take our loss and regroup.  We had some penelty trouble during the game with some shoddy calls from the ref but the boys kept pushing and didn't give up.  We will practice going after the play this week instead of standing by and waiting for the other team to make a move. See you on Saturday because practice makes the team better.  :)

Another outstanding game.  The boys have been supporting each other and it shows on the ice.  They are playing as a team.  Every line has gone out on the ice and clearly worked together to defend or to create scoring chances.  We have our smallest players thinking like giants.  We have our skilled players showing a high level of energy and we have had an outstanding performance from our goalie Ryan A. Some great saves kept us in the game when the other team tried to get ahead on the scoreboard.  Hopefully we can continue this path and we will be winners no matter what the scoreboard says. ...

Great game today!  The boys showed passion and true grit. The team had great defensive coverage by our forwards when the defense had an opportunity for an offensive rush.  We will continue to work on managing the puck in our end in our practice on Saturday. Passing was a strong component of yesterdays practice and it was a strong piece of the puzzle for our win today.  I am glad to see the boys taking the skills learned in practice and using them in the game.   Always remember  "Work Hard and Have Fun"
