CALEDON MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION 2020-2021 SEASON
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Dear Members: The CMHA will be hosting the 2020-2021 Season Annual General Meeting on Tuesday June 15, 2021 at 7:00PM.  The meeting will be held virtually over the Zoom Platform due to the ongoing restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you wish to participate in the AGM you are required to register by sending an email to: [email protected] and your email must include the following information:

 Name:

 Child’s name and Birthdate:

 Your email address:

 Your phone/cell number:

 

We will then send you the email link and all the Zoom login information you require to participate prior to the meeting.

 

By-law 7.6. states that No PROXIES are permitted. If you register for the Virtual Meeting it has to be you who signs into the meeting.

 

Any requested By-Law amendments must be received by the secretary at [email protected] by no later than 11:59PM on May 15, 2021 for consideration at this years’ AGM.  Any amendments received after that time will not be included in this AGM but will be tabled at a future meeting.

 

The AGM will include reports on the 2020-2021 season by all executive members, a financial update and introduction of the current CMHA executive.  Any by-law amendments will also be tabled and discussed (voted upon).  If any other topics arise, they will be shared via an agenda prior to the meeting.

 

Voting/Election for available CMHA Executive Positions will also be conducted during the meeting.  Positions available for election for the next 2 years are:

 

·         President

·         VP Rep

·         VP Development

·         Treasurer

 

If you wish to nominate someone for this position, a nomination form must be received by email to [email protected] by no later than 11:59PM on May 15, 2021 for consideration.

 

The agenda for this years’ meeting, including the names of those nominated for Executive Positions as well as proposed by-law amendments will be posted by June 1, 2021 for review by our members prior to the AGM.

 

We would like to have a good representation at the meeting so please plan on attending and encourage others to do so as well.
