Dear Members:
The CMHA will be hosting the 2023-24 Season
Annual General Meeting on Thursday, June 13th, 2024, at 7:00pm. The
meeting will be held in the Auditorium at the Albion Bolton Community Centre,
150 Queen St (Hwy 50).
The AGM will
include reports on the 2023-2024 season by all executive members, a financial
update and introduction of the current CMHA executive. Any by-law
amendments will also be tabled and discussed (voted upon). If any other
topics arise, they will be shared via an updated agenda prior to the meeting.
Nominations will occur for the
following positions:
- VP
House League
- VP
Administration
- Secretary
- VP
Risk
If you wish to nominate someone for any of these positions, a
nomination request must be received by email to [email protected] by no later
than 11:59PM on May 14, 2024 for consideration.
Any requested By-Law amendments must also be received by the
secretary at [email protected] by no later
than 11:59PM on May 14, 2024 for consideration at this years’ AGM. Any amendments
received after that time will not be included in this AGM but will be tabled at
a future meeting.
Attendance
is required to Vote for any Amendments or Elections. By-law
7.6. states that No PROXIES are permitted.
The names of those
nominated for Executive Positions as well as proposed by-law amendments will be
posted in advance of the AGM for review by our members.
We would like to
have a good representation at the meeting so please plan on attending and
encourage others to do so as well.
