Orangeville Fall Classic Tournament
The Caledon Hawks U12 A team started the weekend with an optimistic attitude and a desire to prove to themselves that they could compete. While they aren’t coming home champions, they are coming home with some amazing memories, team building experiences, an eagerness to continue to develop their skills and silver medals around their necks!


Led by the outstanding goaltending of player of the game, Walter Hawkins, the first game of the weekend on Friday afternoon was a 1-1 tie with the undefeated Markham Waxers.

Saturday, started with a big 4-0 win over the Heartland Dragons. The team was led by Daniel Noga's 2 goal performance and Cameron Roy earned the shutout. The team had a big test on Saturday afternoon against the Burlington Eagles. The Caledon Hawks battled hard and earned a 2-2 tie, led by player of the game, Conner Presseault.

After finishing the round robin, undefeated and in 2nd place, the team played in the semi finals on Sunday morning against the Burlington Eagles. Tied 1-1 late in the game, player of the game, Colton Benjamin scored with 22 seconds left to win the game, 2-1.

The championship game saw the Caledon Hawks play a rematch with the Markham Waxers, who had steamrolled their way to the finals. Caledon jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, only to see the Markham Waxers battle back to steal the win, 4-3. Noah Cass was the player of the game. The entire team played amazing all weekend and the players are going to carry this experience with them as their season continues.
