Minor Midget MD Hawks win Gold in Vaughan
Congratulations to the Hawks on their tournament win in Vaughan, defending their Gold medal from last season.  In 5 games the Hawks out scored their opponents 14-2 with 4 shutout wins and only 1 loss in the round robin play, 2-1 to their tournament nemesis Thornhill Gold.   Meeting this team again in the semi's made for a tough route to the finals but the boys pulled out all the stops and won 3-0 to advance to the finals.  Facing another Thornhill team there, a close battle included several Hawks near goals and shots off the post ending in a 1-0 win.   Coaching staff and parents are extremely proud of the boys who did a great job of representing Caledon.
