It was a great night on the town for the Midget MD Players and parents to celebrate Christmas and a great first half of the 2015/16 season.
The team gathered at The Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse to celebrate a 11-2-2 record and a tournament win during the first half of the season. The players were treated to some wonderful food and entertainment featuring Brazilian dancing.
After the meal coach Frank Grande thanked the parents and players for such a successful season so far. He commented that the real season starts after the Christmas break and he looks forward to much more success during the playoffs and one, possibly two more tournaments.
The Hawks are back on the ice January 2nd to face The Brampton Wolfpack at Caledon East Arena.
