International Silver Sticks in Michigan
The Novice A kids brought in a 9 game winning streak going into their Silver Sticks Finals tournament in St Clair Shores, Michigan. There was a few things different playing in the U.S. for the first time. Blue pucks, no delayed offsides and no slapshots. Eleven of the best Novice A teams across Ontario and the Northern U.S awaited.

The first game saw a rematch between the team the kids beat to reach the Silver Stick Finals. This time NobleKing Knights who reached on a wildcard edged Caledon 2-1 in a hard fought match. The second game later that day saw the Novice a kids up against a very strong West London Hawks. As hard as the Caledon kids tried their opponent proved too strong with Novice A falling 7-0.
The next day brought with it slim hopes of advancement. But the kids battled hard just the same shutting out the Kent Cyclones 5-0 to bring the tournament record to a respectable 1 win and 2 losses. The coaches were proud of all the kids efforts to achieve such a great accomplishment! They earned their pins and had a great time in Michigan!
