A Hawk is born!
With two sons being so much fun they thought it time for a third one! On October 5, 2013 at 10:50 in the morning the Panacci Family were blessed with the arrival of the newest Caledon Hawk, Jacob Panacci.

The joyous news spread like wild fire shortly after the arrival throughout our community and the hockey world via text email and Facebook. Without a doubt trending and hash tagging at the top of Twitter feeds! Here in the Atom AE news department we join all the players, coaches, fans and families in our immense congratulations and best wishes to the new family.Due to the recent home game stretch At 7 Lbs. 11 Oz. the obviously healthy Jacob left coaching staff wondering how long they would have to wait before being able to press the newest addition to our hockey family into hard service. An unnamed coach commented “well obviously if he’s anything like either of his brothers he’s not going to need a lot of time to get up to speed with the rest of the team” Another unnamed coach went on to say “we feel it might be best for his development if he played with the minor team for a while before calling him up to the big show.” It should be noted however that Brian Burke was in town last night trying to shore up an aging Calgary team with some youth. I’m just saying they might not want to wait that long…For all you sports gamblers, GM Carolyn Torchia won the birth pool for date and Social Director Tanya Oppedisano won the pool for her insightful weight prediction. The team netted about $ 180.00 from the Challenge laid down by new and still glowing mom Angela. While it would seem like a lack of commitment, with this kind of financial gain we don’t understand why more families aren’t producing more offspring in support of the team. Just 10 new children could net the team an additional $2000.00 So come on dads, get to work!In any event both winners wanted to thank the Powell Family for organizing and administrating the pool. An internal investigation of the winners will be initiated early this week as other pool contributors are complaining of insider information and a possible fix by the manager and director. Both winners graciously donated all winnings back to the team for further much needed development. We believe however it is possible they did so to throw off the investigators. The entire team thanks Grandpa Panacci for ensuring that superstar goal keeper, Matthew did not miss a single minute of hockey. It should be said that while Matthew was seen as somewhat panicky and found nervously taking cell phone calls at several instances in the dressing room prior to and after the game Friday. He displayed a rare poise and bravery in facing the wrath of the Halton Hills Thunder in under less than ideal circumstances, with clearly putting great personal concern for family aside to support his team. Well done Matthew! In closing we again congratulate the entire Panacci Family, Angela, Steve, Matthew (Mega Nacch) Nathan (Mini Nacch) and newest member Jacob (Micro Nacch) to the community. We all look forward meeting and welcoming the newest Hawk-ey player to our extended family.
